We are excited to officially announce the 5th Annual Heat Bass Classic and share the purpose behind this year’s tournament.
As this event has grown over the past five years, we have felt strongly led to use it for more than our baseball, softball, and facility families. This fundraiser is rooted in our calling to serve and uplift others. We recognize that there are local youth within our ball community who may not have the financial means to participate in sports opportunities that help nurture God-given talents, build meaningful friendships, and strengthen the foundation of our community. Through this effort, we hope to be good stewards of the blessings we’ve been given and extend support to those in need.
This year, 20% of all tournament earnings will be donated directly to two organizations that are doing incredible work in our communities and beyond.
Donation Breakdown:
• 10% of all earnings will be donated to Caring Hearts Pregnancy Center Caring Hearts Pregnancy Center - Taylorsville, NC - Home (https://www.caringheartspc.com/)
• 10% of all earnings will be donated to Big Hearts Outdoors Big Hearts Outdoors (https://www.bighearts-outdoors.com/)
Why These Organizations Matter
Caring Hearts Pregnancy Center serves Alexander County and surrounding areas by providing care, compassion, and confidential support to women and families facing both planned and unplanned pregnancies. Since 2006, they have offered free services while ministering to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those they serve—sharing truth, hope, and love during some of life’s most difficult moments. Their mission is to engage, educate, encourage, empower, and equip families aligned closely with our values of community, faith, and long-term impact.
Big Hearts Outdoors exists to give individuals and communities meaningful outdoor sportsman experiences while providing physical, emotional, and financial support to those in need. Their work specifically supports youth, veterans, the less fortunate, and individuals with physical challenges—using the outdoors as a platform for healing, connection, and opportunity.
We believe this tournament is about more than fishing. It is about community, stewardship, and using the platform God has given us to help others. By participating in the 5th Annual Heat Bass Classic, you are not only competing—you are directly contributing to 3 missions that are changing lives.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support this event. We are grateful, humbled, and excited to see the impact we can make together.
